KREMATORIUM

Opět v urnovém háji Strašnického krematoria - po pěti letech. Měděné i mosazné předměty a rámečky zmizely již prakticky všechny a s nimi většina uren s popelem. Doufejme, že je nepotkal osud urny s ostatky mé matky, kdy zloději - snad v honbě po zlatých zubech - popel vysypali do okénka a vnější měděnou urnu ukradli. Ovšem jsou tu i "vylepšení": betonová konstrukce okének je natřená na bílo a některá oddělení jsou zcela překryta deskami dřevotřísky. Situace před pěti lety a o pět let později.

Once again in the grove of the Prague crematorium in Strasnice - five years later. Copper and brass objects and window frames are all gone and with them vanished also the great deal of urns with ashes of the dead. Let`s believe that they faced a better fate than my mother`s urn, when the thiefs - maybe hoping to find some golden teeth - spilled the ashes into the compartment and stole the outer copper urn. But you can see also some "improvemnets" in this sad place: Construction of the compartments was painted white and some sections are all covered with particleboards.
